A mockup mockup is a visual representation or prototype of a design, typically used to showcase how a product or website will look and function in a realistic context. It serves as a model for presenting the design layout, elements, and overall aesthetics, allowing designers, clients, or stakeholders to get a tangible sense of the final product before development begins. Mockups are often created for websites, apps, logos, or product packaging, and can range from simple static images to more interactive, high-fidelity versions. They are essential tools in design workflows, helping identify potential issues, refine concepts, and communicate ideas effectively, ultimately aiding in the decision-making process.
