For me, it’s all about prioritizing my health. I make sure to schedule time for doctor’s appointments, medication management, and self-care activities like exercise and meditation.
I communicate with my employer or school about my needs and limitations. This can include requesting accommodations, like a flexible schedule or the ability to work from home, to help me manage my symptoms.
I try to delegate tasks to others when possible, like asking a family member or friend to help with errands or household chores. This can take some of the pressure off and give me more time to focus on my health.
I try to be kind to myself and listen to my body. If I’m feeling particularly fatigued or unwell, I allow myself to rest and take a break from my usual responsibilities.
