One thing that has helped me is to wake up early and take photos during the golden hour, which is the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset. The light is usually softer and more golden, which can make for beautiful photos.

Another thing to keep in mind is to experiment with composition. Don’t always take photos from eye level – try shooting from different angles, like getting low to the ground or shooting from above. It can add some interesting perspectives to your photos.

I also recommend researching the location you’re visiting ahead of time to find out about any iconic landmarks or viewpoints that are popular for photos. And if you’re traveling solo, don’t be afraid to ask strangers to take a photo of you – just be sure to return the favor!

Don’t forget to include people in your photos! Some of my favorite travel photos are ones where locals are going about their daily lives, whether it’s cooking food at a street vendor or walking their dogs in a park.

Don’t be afraid to edit your photos to make them look their best. There are plenty of free and easy-to-use photo editing apps out there that can help you enhance the colors, brightness, and sharpness of your photos.
