For me, the most surprising thing about NYC is the sheer number of people and how they all seem to be moving at a different pace. It’s a bustling city that never seems to sleep, and I find it both exhilarating and exhausting at the same time.
The most surprising thing for me has been the level of creativity and innovation in the city. From art galleries to music venues to startup incubators, there’s a real sense of energy and possibility here that I haven’t experienced anywhere else.
One thing that surprised me was how easy it is to get around on the subway. I was nervous about navigating the system at first, but it’s actually very user-friendly and a great way to explore the city without spending a lot of money on transportation.
