I prefer living in Chicago because it has a great balance of big-city amenities and a friendly Midwestern vibe. The food scene is fantastic and there are plenty of museums and cultural attractions to explore. However, the winters can be brutal and I’m not a fan of the cold weather.
I had the opportunity to visit Mexico City, and it was definitely an eye-opening experience. The city is huge, and there’s so much to explore. From the historic center to the trendy neighborhoods like Condesa and Roma, there’s always something new to discover.
If you’re flying, try to book a direct flight if possible to avoid layovers and potential delays. And consider booking accommodations that offer kid-friendly amenities, such as a pool or playground.
If you’re into nature, I would recommend visiting the Soca Valley in Slovenia. It’s a beautiful region with crystal clear rivers, mountains, and forests. It’s a great place to hike, cycle, and kayak.
